POETEKA nisi si projekt i nje grupi artistesh te fjales te cilet, ne shtator te vitit 2004, filluan ne Durres, serine e leximeve per publikun.

Festivali i Nderkombetar i Poezise dhe Letersise - POETEKA eshte nje takim i pervitshem i artisteve te arteve te fjales se shkruar, shkrimtareve, kritikeve te artit, eseisteve, perkthyesve, botuesve dhe i artisteve te tjere qe i bashkohen festivalit per t'i shtuar vlerat permes interpretimeve muzikore, aktrimeve dhe ekspozitave te artit figurativ. Ky aktivitet, qe tashme eshte futur ne kalendaret e veprimtarive me te rendesishme kulturore te Shqiperise, ne vite eshte organizuar dhe ka gjetur mbeshtetjen dhe institucioneve kryesore te kultures ne Shqiperi, si MTKRS, departamentet kulturore te misioneve diplomatike akredituar ne vendin tone, bashkite e qyteteve ku festivali shtegton cdo vit (Durres, Tirane, Berat, Elbasan, Shkoder, Kruje, Vlore, Pogradec) si edhe partnere te tjere te huaj si Programi Traduki per perkthimet, festivale te rrjetit nderkombetar me te cilat Poeteka bashkepunon (Festival Internazionale di Poesia di Genova, Festival Voix Vives de Mediterrannee en Mediterranee Sete, France, Vilenica International Literary Festival-Slovenia). Ne vitin 2009 Poeteka u vleresua nga juria e Akademise KULT si "Veprimtaria kulturore me e mire e vitit."
Ne te gjitha edicionet e tij Festivali POETEKA ka ofruar bujarisht hapesira te shumta per pjesemarresit e saj, shqiptare dhe poete te ftuar nga 20 shtete te botes. Gjithashtu, cdo vit, Festivali POETEKA ka mundur te krijoje programe te brendshme njohjeje jo vetem per poezine dhe arin shqiptar, por edhe per njohjen e kultures, traditave dhe qyteterimit vendas, projekt ky i realizuar permes shtegtimeve te pervitshme ne qendra te rendesishme per kujtesen historike dhe kulturore si Durresi, Apolonia, Berati, Kruja, Elbasani, Shkodra, Vlora dhe Tirana.

Poeteka

POETEKA Int'l Festival of Poetry and Literature is an annual gathering of artists of the written word arts, writers, art critics, lecturers, essayists and performers from Europe and beyond. This activity, which has already gone beyond its initial stages and integrated itself in the most important cultural schedules of Albania, city of Durres, and in the activities organized by the cultural departments of the diplomatic missions in the country (for more details, please see the web site of AMTKYS, 'Fan Noli' Foundation, cultural publications of the Dutch Embassy in Tirana, the map of the Cultural Centers published by the German Embassy, TIFF Festival, etc.), represents a well-organized form of a cultural movement, which establishes institutional contacts with the similar European activities, and helps Albanian poets and writers exchanges their experience with guest poets from the region and the world.
POETEKA Festival, in all its Editions, has generously offered space for a considerable number of participants, both Albanian and foreign guest poets from over 30 different countries. In addition, POETEKA Festival has always organized and provided another side-program of tours and pilgrimages to areas of great significance for the Albanian poetry, the tradition of poetic writing, and the Albanian culture in general, such as in cities of Tirana, Shkoder, Apolonia, Berat, Kruja, Elbasan, and Vlora.
The contribution that POETEKA has given through its previous editions, was awarded as "The Best Cultural Event of the Year in Albania". by the KULT ACADEMY (10 June2009).
