Milianov Kallupi was born on 18 January 1948 year. Hi has finished High Academy for the military Forces and University of Tirana for Albanian language and Literature. Also he has graduated “Aleksander Xhuvani” University for History and Geography.
Since the 70’ years he has been devoted to the poetry and has win several prices.
From 1983-1995 he was worked as a journalist for the “Luftetari” and “Fjala e Lire” newspaper. From 1995 year he is manager of “Egnatia” Publishing House.
He is the chairman of the “Club Writers ‘Kostandin Kristoforidhi” of Albania and the President of Haiku –Albanian Club.
He has published over 40 books for children and adults and Haiku poetries.
In the 200 year his first haiku book titled “The Rain’s Chrysanthemums”, to be followed by 20 other haiku books.
He is cited in several lexicons and poetical anthologies.
He is also translated in English, Greek, Romanian, Italian, Macedonian and Croatian.
